Blepharoplasty
Blepharoplasty is a form of cosmetic surgery that is able to reshape either the upper or lower eyelids. Blepharoplastys may be used to remove sagging skin on the eyelids that occurs as a result of old age. This surgery may also be used to reduce puffy eyelids or the severity of wrinkles. This procedure is performed by cutting along the natural creases of the eyelids to reduce the visibility of scars from the surgery. Usually, bruising and swelling last for about one to two weeks, however, full results should not be expected for a few months. After surgery, special care should be taken to avoid the risk of developing an infection.
