Breast Implant
A breast implant is a common type of plastic surgery that many women seek in order to enlarge the size of their breasts. The surgery involves adding a pre-measured silicone implant into the breast through an incision around the areola. Woman may seek breast implants to boost self esteem or to correct pre-existing deformations of the breast. Doctors often do not encourage the involvement of patients in any strenuous activities for a few days to a week after surgery, and advise that patients remain well rested during this time. Bruising and soreness is to be expected immediately after surgery; however, the discomfort can be managed by taking the medicines provided by doctors for post surgery recovery.
