Buttock Implant
A buttock implant, similar to a breast implant, is a cosmetic surgery that enables the patient to improve or alter the appearance of their buttocks. Certain individuals may seek this type of surgery to obtain firmer, more shapely looking buttocks. Various factors such as ageing and weight gain may motivate an individual to acquire this operation. In order to insert the implants, incisions are made either in the area where the buttock meets the back of the thigh, or in the buttock crease itself. The latter incision area reduces the chances of scarring; however, this type of incision does increase the chances of obtaining an infection.
