Cervicoplasty
A cervicoplasty, more commonly known as a neck lift, is a type of cosmetic surgery in which the skin on the neck is firmed. Individuals who rapidly lose a significant amount of weight may have excess skin that hangs due to the lack of elasticity, and the same applies to individuals whose skin has aged significantly. A cervicoplasty procedure is able to remove any excess skin and make the skin on the neck area appear to be firmer and more youthful. The surgery requires incisions to be made in the neck, usually under the chin where they will not be as visible, and the removal of excess fat and skin.
