Chemical Peel
A chemical peel is a type of skin treatment that uses specific chemicals that remove any dirt or other impurities on the skin. The use of a chemical peel may reduce the appearance of wrinkles, blemishes and acne on the skin significantly. There are varying chemicals that correspond with the strength of each peel; for example, a peel containing phenol provides the deepest peel, and is most often used on patients with more severe skin problems, such as deep wrinkles or areas of skin that may be damaged due to prolonged sun exposure. A chemical peel is a method in which many individuals are able to improve their self esteem.
