Clitoral Hood Removal
Clitoral hood removal is a type of cosmetic surgery that may enhance a womans sexual experience. By removing the protective hood and allow for greater clitoral exposure, a woman may experience heightened sensitivity in the clitoris. Female circumcision, unlike clitoral excision, is not aimed at preventing a woman from experiencing sexual pleasure. Although the short term effects of this procedure are beneficial, individuals should be aware that it is possible for the clitoris to become keratinised, or thickened, after a long period of time.
