Endoscope
An endoscope is an instrument that is used to perform an endoscopy. An endoscopy is an invasive medical procedure that allows for doctors to view the inside of the body. An endoscope consists of an eyepiece for viewing, and two flexible shafts, one used to transmit light and water as needed. An endoscope is a tool that is able to be used in order to view areas of the body that are usually more difficult, if not impossible to view normally. The first endoscope was used in the year 1806 by a man named Philip Bozzini, and has been advanced significantly since his time.
