Glabellar Lines
Glabellar lines are the creases and wrinkles that are found between the eyebrows. These lines and wrinkles are most prominent when an individual is frowning. Treatments are available to diminish the appearance of these wrinkles. Many individuals undergo Botox treatments, a procedure which injects an agent that paralyses muscles, preventing them from contracting. Other factors, such as prolonged sun exposure and high stress levels may worsen the overall appearance of these lines; however, ageing is a more common reason that glabellar lines are formed. Though certain treatments may help, the lines are nearly always going to be somewhat present when an individual frowns.
