Injectable Fillers/Damage

An iatrogenic injury or iatrogenic damage is injury or damage that is caused by a surgery or other medical procedure. Iatrogenic injuries most commonly occur accidentally and are rare; however, there are cases in which damage can be so severe that patients may die. There are certain medical operations that raise the risk of a patient receiving some kind of damage. Operations and procedures that are performed close to the nerves or major blood vessels for example, are known as high risk procedures, and it is possible that nerve damage or bleeding of blood vessels may occur during these operations.
