Labia Reduction
A labia reduction is a type of cosmetic surgery in which a woman reduces the size of her labia minora and labia majora. Many women may be unhappy with the appearance of their labia due to various factors. Disease, ageing and trauma may all cause the labia to lose their shape and become elongated. A labia reduction is also known as a labiaplasty, in which the labia are either amputated or cut slightly to appear more aesthetically pleasing. There are concerns and risks involved with this procedure, and it is advised that patients take extra care after surgery to avoid infection.
