Mastopexy
A mastopexy is another term for a breast lift, and involves reshaping the tissue of the breast. It can be a part of breast augmentation, when the breast changes in shape and in size, but can also be performed alone. In these cases, the breast remains the same size, but the nipple may be moved or the entire shape of the breast altered. Like breast enlargement surgery, the effects of a mastopexy only last for a limited period of time. As a woman ages, her breasts will still change in size and the skin will lose its elasticity despite the surgery.
