Open Rhinoplasty
A rhinoplasty, also known as a nose job, is a form of cosmetic surgery that alters or improves the shape of the nose to correct deformities or to create a more pleasing look. An open rhinoplasty is performed by making an incision across the columella, the section of skin between the nostrils. Incisions are also made on the inside of the nose. The procedure is known as an open rhinoplasty because the incisions are clearly visible on the outside of the nose. The procedure is then completed by reshaping the bone or cartilage in the nose to create the desired look.
