Septo Plasty
A septo plasty is a cosmetic proceure that straightens the cartilage between the two naval cavities, also known as the septum. A deviated septum occurs when the septum leans further into one of the cavities, and can cause ventilation problems and other issues. The procedure is usually performed by straightening the septum by removing any excess tissue and supporting the septum with sutures or small plastic tubes. The recovery period after this surgery may vary depending on the individual and the surgeons process. On average, a few days to a week is all it takes for the individual to fully recover.
