Mr Javaid is a substantive consultant in the NHS, providing reconstructive Plastic Surgery and Cosmetic surgery services in the Lister Hospital Stevenage Hertfordshire and Bedford General Hospital Bedfordshire. His private practice is based at the Pinehill Hospital Hitchin and The Manor Hospital Bedford. He offers a comprehensive service on a wide range of cosmetic procedures. Being a perfectionist and paying attention to details, he believes in achieving the best possible results for every patient. Mr Javaid has published many scientific papers in British and American plastic surgery journals and has presented in National and International plastic surgery meetings. He has an active research and teaching programme in his NHS practice.

Training
Since his graduation in 1988, Mr Javaid had extensive plastic surgery training including 6 years specialist training culminating in the award of  the Certificate of Completion of Training in Plastic Surgery. He is on the specialist register of the GMC for plastic surgery. During his training, he was awarded Fellowships of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow (FRCS) & the Royal College of Surgeons in Plastic Surgery FRCS(Plast). He has worked in many teaching hospitals including, Addenbrooke’s Hospital Cambridge, Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, Birmingham University Hospital and Royal London Hospital. He secured a National Oncoplastic Breast Reconstruction Fellowship organised jointly by the British Association of  Plastic, Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgeons, and British Association of Surgical Oncology. He also completed a highly competitive accredited cosmetic surgery fellowship at the renowned Wellington Hospital in London where he worked with some of leading cosmetic surgeons to further his training in facial cosmetic surgery such as facelift, necklift, blephroplasty and surgery for correction of prominent ears.  

NHS Practice
His NHS base is at the Lister Hospital Stevenage and Bedford General Hospital where he provides service for general plastic surgery conditions, breast reconstruction, aesthetic breast surgery and skin cancers. He works in close collaboration with his general surgery colleagues to provide a high quality service for reconstructive breast surgery  using a variety of techniques.

His private practice is based at the Pinehill Hospital Hitchin and The Manor Hospital Biddenham Bedford. He offers a wide range of cosmetic procedures including;
