Q. Im a 23 year old male who is a regular gym user,but have always had extra tissue around my chest area which i cannot seem to remove by weight training or cardio! I am by no means fat and toned all over its just that I cant seem to get rid of of the fat in this area. Could this be the beginning of getting man breasts because this is not something I want to put up with.

Thank you for your enquiry.   From your description, there is a strong possibility of gynaecomastia, which then would require surgical correction.   It is very important to bear in mind that using anabolic steroids to enhance muscle development significantly increases the risk of gynaecomastia development.

Q. Please could you advise how much you charge for thread cheek and brow lift. Do your prices include after care and treatment for any possible complications?

A. I do not think thread lifts on their own is a good brow lift and I combine it with a small incision 4cm temporal lift. The combined cheek and brow lift including aftercare is about £3000. Q. I work as cabin crew for a long haul airline. I am interested in having breast enlargement surgery but would like to know how long you recommend I take off work after the operation?

A. most women that I treat take a week off work. Even after 48 hours most women can do their normal activities, but it’s still tender around the chest area. Many women are on painkillers for a week, but the twinges around the breast continue for a couple of months afterwards. Your own recovery may vary but this is what my patients tell me. Q. How much does breast augmentation for tubular breasts usually cost, and does it usually result in more problems than regular breast enlargement surgery?

A. Tubular breasts mean either the fold under the breast has not developed or the breast herniates through the nipple. Expansion or stretching of the distance from the nipple to a new correct distance fold is needed. This can be done in the same way as a conventional breast enlargement or in seevere cases needs tissaue expansion and reduction of the nipple. In my practice I charge the same fee except if expansion is needed. The fee is £4220 to £4500 depending on the implant type used

Q. I am a 33 year old man, and 21 stone and roughly half of this is fat accumulated on the abdomen down to the lower waist. My hips, legs and upper body seem to be quite normal. Could this be operated on with liposuction or another fat removal technique?

A. Liposuction can only remove small amounts of fat that are stubborn to diet and exercise. If you’re more interested in shedding lots of weight from all over the central area of your body you might be better off seeing your GP about weight loss.
