Q. I had a hair transplant around two years ago It has left me with a scar around my head from ear to ear. This is visible with short hair cuts. Is there any lotion/ creams whch will help reduce/fade away this dark line scar so its not so visible- something that can be used on the head

Q. Can Botox injections be used to relax neck bands?

Q. Please could you provide some information about Aquamid dermal fillers as I would welcome your thoughts on whether it would be appropriate for getting rid of smile lines around my mouth. I have considered getting a treatment for ages but could do with further guidence before going any further. Thanks

A. Hi there. I don’t really like to use aquamid, as I think the safest results are from things like juvederm, restylane and injections of your own fat. I don’t use permanent fillers as I’ve seen terrible complications decades later and so I only use your own body tissues if you’re interested in a permanent product.

Q. Hello, my names. My inner thights are not budging at all!! Im eating healthy and i walk alot and workout. How much would it be to have lipolaser done to both of my inner thighs? A. Hi there. For people who have unwanted areas of fat which are resistant to diet and exercise, we often use VASER liposuction to these areas. For most people we can perform liposuction with VASER from £2000 to just under £4000 depending on how many areas in the thighs you’re having done. Generally speaking though we want to be safe so if it’s just your inner thighs, for example, then that would possibly be around £2650. Q. Hi , I recentely had a meeting with you in Birmingham and you advised me to take proscar . The chemist gave me a generic equilivant of 5mg finasteride by a company called Actavis. Are these tablets as good as Proscar. Many thanks .

A. Hi there, thanks for your query. Generic Finasteride is as good as Proscar. My expectation is that Finasteride 1mg would become generic in a couple of years.

A. I always combine a neck lift with a small face lift as I think I get better results. I am using a combination of a Mini lift with lipo and tunneling of the neck with suspension sutures.
