Q. I have to take warfarin for the rest of my life due to factor v leiden but desperately want breast enlargement. have told me that they cannot perform the procedure as they do not have intensive care facilities but others may be able to perform it as long as they have intensive care facilities.

A. you’re probably best not having any surgery that isn’t absolutely necessary I’m afraid. It’s not that the surgery is complex (Transform is wrong to say you would need intensive care after surgery), it’s the risk of needing another operation at some point in your life that has a greater risk of bleeding – for example surgery for capsular contracture if it happens

Q. Hi, I had a chin resuspension surgery, my surgoen drilled holes in my jaw and used sushs to join my skin to the bone. As I had a dropy chin after a chin inplant was taken out. Now my tongue doesnt relax and feels like its more forward or more enlarged in my mouth. Do you know if the tongue has any connection with the jaw been attached to the skin.

A. I obviously wasn’t there at your surgery so I don’t know if your surgeon did anything to your tongue. If you have an appointment booked to see your surgeon for follow up, you could ask him then

Q. Do you do one stich or mini face lifts are they effective in your opinion and what are the costs

A. I do perform mini facelifts, and they can be quite effective in the right person. You are welcome to come and see me and I can let you know if the mini lift is going to give you the results you’re hoping to achieve. There’s no question that I can get a better result with a full facelift, but not everyone wants the cost or recovery associated with a full facelift. You do have to accept a lesser result with a mini lift, though. Q. Hi Taimur, this is a question about tattoo removal. I have a band around my forearm which i have been having lazer removal on. It has taken a long time as the tattoist went so deep thereis a little ink left but i stopped as. the ultimate aim was to have a new tatoo as i never expected to get it removed completely. Unfortunately ive now come to realise the skin is somewhat raised and lumpy but only on the top part of my arm and its causing me concern as it really is noticeable – the band is noticably raised only on this part, Im wondering if excision might be preferable as id rather have thin scar than the wider lumpy area on top of the arm. i see your clinic is in glasgow and id be prepared to travel there but i wanted to check this out first, as it is along way from london. The area is about 3.5 cm wide and 10 cm long. Oviously this would leave some ink on the underside of mya rm where the skin is perfectly smooth, but if one day i could have a tattoo over it once its all healed i hope i could no longer be self concious about my arm. it really is a bg problem for me. A. Hi S. Thanks for your enquiry. I can certainly remove the skin in which a tattoo is located but sometimes there’s not enough laxity in your skin for me to remove the whole thing in one go. I really would have to pinch your skin to check this before I told you how much I could do in one go. What some other people have done in the past is send me an email with a picture or two (close up, far away shot, etc) or the tattoo to enquiries@labelleforme.co.uk and we have been able to help or advise accordingly. Q. My left breast is considerably smaller than my right one, about how much would it cost and would you need to put an implant into both of my breats?

A. Hi – we have a number of options to treat asymmetry in breasts. It all depends on the size of the breasts, which one you like, whether you want one of them changed or whether both should be changed, and we have various options. In the past, I’ve done the following: breast uplift on one side and implants in both breasts, breast reduction in both sides with one side being reduced more than the other, & different breast implant sizes in each breast. So there are a few options, and what I recommend often depends on what I see in the exact shape and size of them both. Obviously the price varies depending on what we do and the results depend on how bad things are and what we’re hoping to achieve – all these are important things to discuss at a consultation. A. hi there. I can certainly perform cosmetic surgery on someone who is less than 18 but you have to have a GP referral letter, sent to me, before I can see you. For things like unwanted fat in the thighs, I don’t think many GPs would suggest anything other than diet and exercise, I suspect.

Q. I had both toenails on my big toes removed years ago. I love sandals but am desperate to find a solution to keeping on artificial toes and would love to know anything about implants

Q. Iam a healthy 22 year old male but i have dome shaped nipples and it is really embarrassing. i was just wondering what procedures can correct this and how much would it roughly cost? thanks
