After seeing the doctor he advised me I have capsular contraction in one of my breasts

Q. After seeing the doctor he advised me I have capsular contraction in one of my breasts. I would like to know a little more about surgical options available to treat this condition. Please respond by email thank you.

A. Thank you for your email. Your body forms a protective capsule made of fibrous tissue around breast implants. If capsular contracture is painful or changes the shape of your breast then you should seek medical advice. We will discuss with you the surgical options based on the clinical findings e.g. release of capsular contracture, removal of the capsule, replacement and/or repositioning of the implants.I have following suggestions for you: 1) Please send me good quality photos for my initial comments. 2) You may wish to arrange a detailed consultation to allow me to examine you and give my opinion. 3) Please visit our website: www.vadodariaplasticsurgery.com (section of breast surgery, photo gallery and price guide) to allow you to develop better insight into the procedure. Please contact my office on 0208 997 3976 between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm or by email on info@vadodariaplasticsurgery.com  for further guidance.   With very best wishes,
