Can you have surgery to reduce size of brow bone?
Q. Hello Sir Please can you tell me if you do surgery to reduce size of brow bone. I am 28 female and is very prominent and quite masculine and i want to have cosmetic surgery to make it look more feminine is it possible?
A. Thank you for your enquiry. There are two options for reducing the orbital bar (brow bone) for a softer contour of the forehead. One is the option of an open brow procedure which involves a more extensive scar in the hair, and allows more extensive access to the bone of the forehead which can then be contoured. There is also the possibility of correction using endoscopic techniques, avoiding the more extensive scar in the hair but also allowing for a more limited correction. The procedure can be combined with a fat transfer to the upper half of the forehead, for a generally softer contour.
