A. Breastfeeding does change the shape of the breast and the areola. However, if your breast changes at all you should ask a doctor to check it for you

Q. Would it be possible to have areola reduction surgery on a male removing gland tissue without using liposuction?
A. Hi there. You don’t say why you would you not want liposuction, so I’m a little unsure of why you’re asking the question. Generally speaking you would normally tell me what you want to achieve, I would examine you and I would then recommend a course of action that would best achieve your aims, bearing in mind what you have now and what you want. You wouldn’t tell me how to best get to your aims, unless you’re willing to accept a less than ideal result because you refused to let me do things the way I thought would be best for you. You need to let your surgeon do things the way he thinks is best rather than for you to dictate things to him. Many surgeons are experts in these fields and have great results with a lot of experience but only because they do what they think is best for their patients.

Q. Im unhappy with the size and shape of my areola as I feel they need to be rounder and made smaller. I would like to have the shape corrected as soon as possible.

Q. I’m a 23 year old female, with no children. I have been considering puffy areola reduction. My areola is a little bit wider then a quarter in diameter. Everything else with the breast is fine. But I have a puffy areola and so in the relaxed state there is no nipple just areola. How could this be fixed?

Q. One of my nipples appear puffy,large and erect compared to the other normal one. I previously underwent a surgery that removed fatty tissue under my right areolar. I m very interested in a nipple surgery for my right nipple to correct it. Can you help?
A. I am not sure whether you are male or female, but breast tissue can be excised to flatten the areola wither way.

A. Areola reduction is done under local anaesthetic. Recovery is about one day . You will be left with a scar around the areola. The cost is about £800
