Q. I have really bad dark circles/baggy eyes which are heriditary. I am unsure about having surgery or the dermal fillers and would like to know if their are any other treatments i could have which would be beneficial to me? Thank you

Thank you very much for your enquiry, the dark circles and bagginess under the eyes do often run in families as you suggest in your email and the best treatment for this is either trimming of the fatty tissue from inside the eye or possible dermafillers to disguise the area by filling the area beneath the bags. Q. ptosis of right eyelid i had an op 20 years ago to remove excess skin caused by previous op to remove huge cyst where eyelashes are it is happening again i have Glaucoma all it needs is a small amount of skin removed at side of eyelid can this be done?
A. Hi. I do perform ptosis surgery, but as you know ptosis can return. If you live in Glasgow you can ask your GP to refer you to me on the NHS or you can have treatment more quickly through my private practice, and you can ask your GP to refer you to me at the Glasgow Nuffield Hospital.
