Q. Dear Paul, I have always had a decent sized bust but after exercising 4 times a week I have noticed that it is reducing in size, not dramatically but very gradually. I like the effect the gym has on my body but not my bust. Should I have my boobs done now while they are a decent size or wait until they reduce further? I’m very interested in your response. A. yes you can but the risks can be higher and you should try and get your old operation notes to give to the surgeon who is going to do your next operation

Q. Hi Adrian, Wondering if you could give me some advice. My mum had a BA in 1984. 9-10 months later she developed cc. She saw a PS and was going to have them replaced but she fell pregnant. The PS popped them and ever since she has had pain. They also became very hard and misshaped after breast feeding. She was to scared to go and have them replaced over the years because she thought they would not be able to replace them. Over the last few months she’s developed a lump under her arm pit and her right breast feels large and watery and also has pain (under armpit,shoulder, top of breast) the lump seems to drain every couple of days but then fills up again. Every couple of days she feels under the weather to. The breasts have now lost their fullness and are rock hard and misshaped. She is to scared to go and see a PS because she feels that they are so bad that they will not replace them. She is very slim lady ( 7 and a half stone) and pre op was flat chested, they were placed over the muscle but we do not know what size or make were used. Please could you give us your advice so i can convince her to see a PS, either yourself or any other PS. Thank you.
A. Thank you very much for your enquiry, it does sound as if your mother has developed a significant capsule around her breast implants. This would typically make them very firm and tender and cause distortion to the shape of the breasts. Breast capsules are slightly more common when the implants are placed in front of the muscle and a possible solution might be to replace your mother’s breast implants under the muscle which would give a more natural appearance and also reduce the risk of capsular contracture developing again. Q. Hi i had breast implants a year ago, im happy with them apart from they are really veiny, deep blue veins running through them , i really hate them and i never wear a low cut top, im wantin to know if there is any treatment for this or could they be removed i would be very greatfull if you could recomened something as its really getting me down.
A. Thank you very much for your enquiry, unfortunately it’s difficult to reduce the veins on your bust following a breast augmentation. They do sometimes get slightly worst following a breast augmentation because of the increased blood supply to the area. The only real options available for you are either laser therapy or removal of the veins which may leave small scars. The surgery can be performed under local anesthetic but we do not recommend that you go back to work the next day and probably have 3 or 4 days off work. Q. can you tell me a breast surgeon on the brimingham area that will do bigger boobs ie 700 cc’s im wanting a more glamour look than most peeps will do !!

The reason for this is very large implants can cause pressure under your breast tissue and decrease your natural breast tissue you have. Ofcourse they may look good for a couple of years, they cause long term problems to the breast tissue in the more long term. You mayb able to find a surgeon who does specialize in large implants and I wish you the best of luck if you do decide to proceed with this treatment. Q. Hi, After a 20lb weight loss, my breasts have “shrunk” by 2 or 3 cup sizes – but the skin envelope is the same size. The result is saggy breasts and a LOT of wrinkled excess skin -but also I have very deep stretch marks at the top, which wrinkle into deep lines when I bend forward. The nipples are not below the breast crease though. Is it possible to have excess skin removed/breast filled without repositioning of the nipple? My breasts just feel “empty” and look flat, but still huge breast envelopes.
