Q. I had breast augmentation and benelli mastopexy for tubular breasts 2.5 months ago. The augmentation has gone very well but the areolars are very puffy (puffing outwards) The diameter of the areaola is also large when they are puffy. It is the projection of the puffiness that bothers me rather than the diameter. Is this likely to resolve at this stage or is it just part of the healing process? If not can it be fixed? If so, how and when would be appropriate? Many thanks.

A. Thank you very much for your enquiry, unfortunately I think it’s unlikely that a diameter of the areola will shrink now and if anything is likely to enlarge slightly. Q. Hello, my question is about a breast lift. After having children and then losing quite a lot of weight, my formerly very large breasts have reduced in size and left loose skin. They are very droopy, the nipple sits 3 inches under the breast crease and when I wear an uplifting bra the skin wrinkles and looks unsightly. Q. I am almost 47 and have wanted to get my breasts lifted for some time as they are very saggy (3 kids). Just recently I have lost some weight and my breasts have gone from a 32DD to a 32 C cup in the space of 2 months. This has had a devastating effect on me and I really feel that I need something done about it now. My husband and I are haiving problems as I no longer feel sexy. I am willing to put some weight back on so that the stem cell technique can be used, but does this also help to uplift the breasts? I don’t want to have the surgery because of the down time and scarring and possible loss of sensation in the nipples. The gradual increase in size for this procedure also appeals to me I would be happy with a 32 DD or 32E size cup, as long as there is also some lift and firmness back in the tissue. Please help.

A. I am afraid that the technique you describe is untested and is very much experimental. It is Definitely not applicable to your situation I am afraid and the only option would be an uplift(+/- augmentation). I am sorry but this does involve surgery and scarring and this is something you would have to accept.
