Q. The cellulite on the back of my legs is so unsightly and I would really like to do something about it. My problem is I can find no information in regard to a specific treatment. Have you come across anything that really effective in your experience I could try. I am going on holiday in the summer and feel as though I cant wear a swimsuit.

Thank you very much for your enquiry, unfortunately cellulite is rather difficult to treat but there are a number of options you could try depending on your area with your location I think it would be sensible to schedule a consultation with a clinic near you to discuss the various options which may include Vaser liposuction or other anti-cellulite treatments. Q. What is a good treatment for stretch marks on my tummy and cellulite on my thighs? What is the cost of this treatment?
A. hi there. For cellulite, I think the best treatment is endermologie treatment which is £400 for ten sessions with my beauty therapist. Liposuction isn’t a great method, but if you would like me to examine your thighs then I can do so at a consultation. For stretch marks we often recommend a course of dermaroller treatment which is around £200 a treatment and you often need 3-5 treatments before you see a difference and the treatments are about 6 weeks apart

Q. I am generally happy with my shape of my body but my problem is that I have lumpy cellulite in my lower buttock area, which seems to have worsened with my recent weight loss. Can you tell me if liposuction is generally used for this type of problem?
A. Thank you very much for your enquiry, cellulite is a difficult problem to treat and is often helped by liposuction. Liposuction generally remove the prominent areas but is not effective against cellulite. These are very long used to lose the weight and I think the sensible thing to do would be to schedule a consultation with a plastic surgeon to discuss the best way forward in your case. Q. Can liposuction get rid of cellulite in any way at all, even a slight improvement would be a blessing? The cellulite is at its worst just below my buttocks at the back of my legs. I would like to have liposuction to the area anyway as although I am in decent shape I have always been unhappy with my chubby thighs since I was in my mid 20’s. What kind of liposuction do you use there please?
A. Hi there Cellulitie cannot be treated with liposuction I am afraid. No one treatment is 100% efffective but my best results have been with Indiba treatment. Liposuction would obviously recontour your thighs and give you an improved silhouette. Q. After several enquires about cellulite removal I seem to have hit a brick wall. How come liposuction or other treatments cant shift cellulite? We put a man on the moon in 1969 and we still dont have a treatment for cellulite. There must be something that at least helps??? Even if it only slightly helps al give it a go, im so sick of the cellulite on the back of my legs!!!!

A. I would be able to retire if I could invent a technique that does whay you want. Stretch marks are very difficult and disappointting to treat and I have to tell you that in my opinion there is no satisfactory treatment. If you have cellulite, cerafull liposuction can improve this but the buttocks area is a difficult area to treat.RegardsLeRoux Fourie

Q. I would like to have liposuction on my outer and inner thighs. There are 2 reasons I woukld like this done, firstly to shift some stubborn areas of fat and partly to shift the appearance of cellulite.

Q. I have heard and read many mixed reports about the efficiency of Thermage for tightening up the facial area and I wondered if you have any experience with the treatment? Is it good for facial skin and will it work for cellulite on other parts of my body?
A. There are several treatments that are “non-ablative heat treatments” including Titan, Thermage, etc. I think they have their role but all non surgical facial tightening treatments need to be repeated and have a mild to moderate effect. If you keep your aims at this level and have a consultation with someone who performs both facial surgery and facial thermage/titan/etc, then hopefully you will be able to get an honest opinion. Cellulite treatments, again, need to be repeated and have a mild to moderate effect, and I use Endermologie in my Glasgow clinic.
