Q. Can you offer an upper body lift procedure that involves using suture lifting instead of the normal horizontal incision across the back?
A. Unfortunately, the suture lifting procedures don’t work very well, and when someone needs their body lifted then the long term results are better with the procedures that create scars. In the long run, we can perform scar improvement treatments but the scars are always there.

Q. What is a good treatment for stretch marks on my tummy and cellulite on my thighs? What is the cost of this treatment?
A. hi there. For cellulite, I think the best treatment is endermologie treatment which is £400 for ten sessions with my beauty therapist. Liposuction isn’t a great method, but if you would like me to examine your thighs then I can do so at a consultation. For stretch marks we often recommend a course of dermaroller treatment which is around £200 a treatment and you often need 3-5 treatments before you see a difference and the treatments are about 6 weeks apart

Q. Hi, is it okay to do dermaroller and microdermabrision together? If yes, which should I do first and how long do I wait between treatments?
A. It is OK to have dermaroller and microdermabrasion for the same problem, and I would have the microdermabrasion first. You should wait until your skin has recovered from the microdermabrasion before having the dermaroller (usually a couple of days). We do both treatments at La Belle Forme, and my nurse does the dermaroller and my beauty therapist does the microdermabrasion

Q. Hi there! A. I prefer to do Dermaroller therapy to chemica;l peel as rthe results are better with less loss of skin pigmentation. The dermaroller consists of 3 treatments 6 weeks apart with home maintanance therapy. The recovery is 3 to 4 days but a sunscreen needs to be applied.The cost is £1184 for the whole cource. Q. I wonder if you have any experience with chemical peels. How long can I expect a chemical peel to last after treatment before it would need to be redone?
A. I have stopped doing chemical peels as I found many patients complain of colour changes in the face after the peel. I have found Dermaroller gives better results with a shorted down time ie time off work of about 3 days where as a chemocal peel takes 10 to 14 days to settle. My experience with dermaroller is only 9 months and it looks promosing in the long term. I cant give you an idea how long peels last as I have not done any peels for the past 5 years
