Q. Mr Inglefield, im currently researching having a buttock lift. Can I expect alot of scarring after having a buttock lift?
A. Thank you for your enquiry. There are 2 options for buttock lifting. First is a silhouette buttock lift which is a minimally invasive procedure performed under local anaesthetic. Second is a standard buttock lift which involves removing a segment of skin in th eupper part of the buttocks to lift this. This is perfromed under a general anaesthetic. What is approproate and safe for you will need to be assessed at a consultation. Please call Anne or Kirstie on 0207 863 2140 or email kirstie@lbps.co.uk who will be happy to assist you. in arranging your consultation. Q. My thighs are not a major problem but they do have a saggy appearance likely due to middle age. It the only part of my body I am unhappy with and would like to hear more about possible options for treatment such as lipocution or some kind of lift surgery.
A. Thank you for your enquiry. The options for improving your thighs will depend on the skin tone and amount of excess fat, and this ranges from non surgical Velashape treatments to Liposuction and thigh lifting. I frequently recommend a combination of Velashape with either liposuction or thigh lifting to achieve the optimum results. What is safe and appropriate for you will need to be discussed at your consultation. Please call Anne or Kirstie on 0207 863 3140 or email kirstie@lbps.co.uk who will be happy to assist you and arrange your consultation.Best regards

Q. Hi, Do you perfrom chin tuck up, where excess tissue saggying off chin is excised through incision under chin? I am wanting to correct excess tissue that sags off the end of my chin. The bone is very small so I do not think there is enough bony support for a cmentalis muselc resuspension to work. And I dont really want to get a chin implant. I was wondering if you perform thsi suiregy or know of nayone in london who does. I am aware the surgery leaves a small scar but am not bothered by this. If you do what would be the approximate cost? Thank you.
A. Thank you for your enquiry. Severe sagging of the chin can be corrected by excising tissue from under the chin. However, if there is poor bony support then the chin will look flat and will continue to sag with age. What is safe and appropriate for you will need to be assessed and discussed at the time of your consultation. The costs for this surgery will range from £2700 to £4500 depending on the complexity of surgery required. Please call Anne or Kirstie on 0207 863 3140 or email kirstie@lbps.co.uk who will be happy to assist you, or arrange your consultation to discuss your concerns and the options.Best regards

Q. Can a chin implant improve saggying tissue of chin. Also can a chin implant project chin forward without lenthening chin, and if so how is this possible as chil slpoes downwards, can the implant be placed slightly higher to achieve this? Thank you. Also what is the approximate cost of a chin implant combined with chin resuspension?
A. THank you for your enquiry. You are correct in saying that a chin implant can improve the projection without lengthening the chin. The chin implant will also correct sagging and a chin resuspension combined with a chin implant will be needed if there is severe sagging. What is safe and appropriate for you will need to be asessed and discussed at the time of yoru consultation. An accurate quotation will be provided following yoru consultation. The approximate cost for this surgery is around £4200. Please call Anne or Kirstie on 0207 863 3140 or email kirstie@lbps.co.uk who will be happy to assist you, or arrange your consultation to discuss your concerns and the options.Best regards
