Q. I think I need a hood reduction along with a labia reduction, as both areas are visible. I was wondering if this is a common procedure to have along with labia redction surgery?

Q. I am currently under 2 consultants and have had on-going problems for 3 years, in constant pain from the tenderness down below unable to wear certain clothing and it being aggrivated each month due to my cycle. I wish to have some more information on how surgery could correct this.

Q. I have never been able to have an orgasm during intercourse and my husbands penis is a good size but I just dont feel it. Is there anything that I could do to get tightened up so that I can enjoy sex again?

Q. Doctor, In your experince is there anything you can do to tighen the vaginal area without the need for surgery such as creams or gels etc? I would really like to have surgery as a last option. Regards

A. Thanks. I hear there are creams, etc. We do not recommend them, as some of them have an erosive effect on the vagina. We do have a 2non-surgical” option which involves the injection of fillers to narrow the vaginal. There are temporary, as you will need the fillers again every 9-36 months, depending on several factors. The good old pelvic floor toner works, but it does not tightening the vagina, it just increases the vaginal toine and thus, feeling of “tightness”. Q. At 55 would I be too old for vaginal tighening? I still have an active sex life but the arera is now rather slack and feel vaginal tighening would be a great way to improve things further.

A. Thanks. The oldest lady we have done vaginal tightening on specific for enhancement of sexual gratification is 62yr with a 49 yr old husband. The oldest we have done similar procedure for prolapse reason is 92yr-old! No, you are not too old for the procedure, but you may not necessarily wish to be as tight as someone in her 30s; it really all depend on you and your vaginal skin stretchability. Are you on HRT.
