Q. My left breast has capsular contraction (past 18 months). A recent scan at the breast clinic has shown the implant has folded (it feels like a lump hence the investigation). I had the implants in 2001. I have had numerous health problems for 4 years with no real diagnosis therefore I am wondering whether to have the silicone implants removed completely to see if they could be contributing to the fatigue, facial pain, muscular pain in my neck and right shoulder. Is there any chance they could be have caused or be causing these health concerns? I don’t want small breasts again but if there is a chance my general health could improve then I would not hesitate to have them removed. If I did have them removed how would my breasts look? I went from an A cup to a DD therefore the skin will have stretched, I am 36, a non smoker and I exercise therefore would they be a saggy empty bag of skin? Your advice would be appreciated. Sharon
