Q. Hello, I recently had a sliding genioplasty, moving my chin forward approx 5mm. I am satisfied with the result, however I still have not reached my original aim which was for a stronger more protruding chin. I wanted to ask you if a patient who has already had a sliding genioplasty (using titanium screws to secure the bone), can get a chin implant on top of this? Or would there be complications about doing this because I have already had a sliding genioplasty, done through an incision through the mouth. I am hoping, if it is possible to also have a chin implant) to get this done in summer this year. Thanks.
