Q. My question is about exercise after facelift and neck surgery. How long realisicially should I be waiting before attempting any sort of exercise? Im really into staying in shape as you can probably tell. Thanks

Thank you very much for your enquiry, generally I do advice you to leave exercise for atleast 10 days following facelift procedure and then start with gentle lower body exercise and move slowly up to your full exercise regime. Obviously, it would be good to talk to your surgeon about their advice for your return to exercise. Q. Im not sure of this is going to sound silly but is there a a time limit on the effects of a facelift. Is there a point where the procedure may need to be done agaon and what can be done to prolong the effects? Im still undecided whether this is something for me so any help would be great thanks.
A. Thank you very much for your enquiry, there is not really a time limit for a facelift generally people can have further facelifts after initial operation and normally leave it in 8-10 years. The reason for this is facelift reverses the gravitational changes to your face by elevation and each year these do get slightly worse and so a facelift is used to reverse this.
