Q. Hello I recently undergone fat grafting to the chin. It is still healing but there wasnt enough fat put in. I wanted to plump it up alot more. He had a certificate in fat grafting and told me the chin implants were not big enough. Can I get it done again in the uk for a cheap price yet professionally done? Thanks

A. Coleman fat transfer might work but why not concider Juvederm first to see if the result is what you want

A. I do not do artificial cheek implants as I prefer to do microfatgrafting cheek augmentation . I find this less invasive and with fewer problems and I believe more natural. It is done under local anaesthetic with fat taken by mini liposuction from the tummy, knees or thighs. Q. I would like to enhance the size of my lips. Can I have my own body fat injected into the lips and is this some thing you have done before and would you advise it to be the best procedure for results?

A. I use own bodyfat microfatgrafts a lot and think it is wonderful. You might need 2 treatments as I tend to undercorect first as it nis better to add rather that remove (this is very difficult) The procedure is done under local anaesthetic and costs about £880. Q. Can fat grafting be used to correct or remove scars on any parts of the body?

A. scars can never be removed – they can only be changed. Sometimes the change improves the firmness of the scars, and sometimes we change the shape, the colour, the contours, etc. Fat grafting brings in stem cells into the area and that helps the quality of the scarring but it doesn’t remove the scarring completely. If you want to change a scar with fat grafts, then perhaps what you really want, and what you’re saying, is you want to try and improve the quality of the scars with stem cells as opposed to fat grafts.
