Q. I feel my forehead is far too large and is covered in lines even around the eyebrows I also think my eyebrows are too low. My upper eyelids have a large amount of excess skin which seem to pull down on the outside of the eyes. My face skin is droopy and has very little volume at all and I also have deep folds around my nose & mouth & chin. The complexion of my brownish patchy skin also bothers me as well. I would like to know what procedures may be ableto help fix these issues please?
A. It is always difficult to give an opinion without a full medical history and an examination. It sounds like you could benefit from a brow lift, upper eyelid tuck and a face lift with either laser, chemical peel or dermaroller to improve the skin.I would suggest you see an accredited plastic surgeon (see www.baaps.org) near you but you are welcome to arrane a no oblogation consultation with meRegardsLeRoux Fourie

Q. Dear Sir. I have a high forehead which is full of lines that even show between my eyebrows. My eyebrows are also too low and my upper eyelids have excess skin which also pulls down on the outside of the eyes. I was just after an opinion of what the possibilities are for treatment please?
A. A reverse forehead lift will address the upper lids and brow and can lower the hair line. It does leave a faint scar in the hair line of the forehead. An endoscopic brow lift will address the brow and eyelids but can lift the hairline even more.RegardsLeRoux Fourie

Q. I would like to reduce the size of my forehead. I have seen this being done on tele but have been able to find little information on any cosmetic surgery websites and would like to know how much it costs and the risks etc please.
A. There is a technique described called an reverse forehead lift where the hair line is lowered. This leaves a fine zigzag scar in the hairline. The procedure is done under general anaesthesia. Whre possible, dissolving sutures are used. BUT YOU WILL HAVE A SCAR.The cost should be in the region of £3000LeRoux Fourie

Q. I have a really high forehead and I was enquiring if there is a procedure out there to reduce the area. I asked my doctor and without sounding bad wasent the most helpful person. I know fully well I am not going to get it dont via the NHS so though I would make some of my own checks. I would be thankful for any info you can provide. John
A. Hi there If you have a receding hairline then the best treatment is to consider hair restoration. This is a complex field with many charlatans so be careful who you choose!!! I would recommend an excellent plastic surgeon called Mr Greg Williams Good luck Best wishes Paul Banwell help@paulebanwell.com www.paulebanwell.com

Q. What is the difference in cost between a forehead lift and a face lift. I would like the forehead area lifting but thought if the costs were similar I my as well go for the face lift surgery. Would a facelift lift my forehead?
A. A face lift does not lift the forehead and vice versa. A forehead lift addressed the frown lines between the brows and the position of the brows whilst a face lift addressed the cheek and neck and jaw line. A face and neck lift costs £5975A MACS face lift is £4850A brow lift is £2900
