i would like less saggy breasts how much would this

Q. i would like less saggy breasts how much would this type of surgery cost and what are the risks. Can i still breast feed if i have children. I think they ar Te saggy due to weight loss? What if i put weight back on?

A. Thank you for your email. The procedure for breast lift is known as mastopexy. The guide price is £4500.  It is unlikely to affect breast feeding. You may gain propotionate degree of weight on your breasts you if you put on weight.I have following suggestions to help you further: 1) Please send me good quality photos for my initial comments. 2) You may wish to arrange a detailed consultation to allow me to examine you and give my opinion. 3) Please visit our website: www.vadodariaplasticsurgery.com  to allow you to develop better insight into the procedure. I have always had very flat nipples which can become inverted though not all the time

Q. I have always had very flat nipples which can become inverted though not all the time. I dont really like the way they look and would like to get something done about it. I was once quoted for the nipple procedure on its own, and it seemed very expensive. The thing is I am thinking of having a breast lift as well and thought it may be best to have both procedures at the same time while keeping down the costs. Is this possible?

A. Hi there Thanks for the question. Nipple eversion is a common procedure and can be performed under a local anaesthetic very easily. I commonly perform it with breast augmentation but I would not perform it at the same time as a mastopexy because of the potential risk of necrosis (compromise in the blood suppply). Please do book a consultation and I can go through things with you in ore detail on 0845 2600 261 or help@paulebanwell.com I look forward to meeting you Cheerio paul banwell www.skininstituteuk.com

I am a 45 year old woman who had a bilateral maxtopsy with implant replacement around 3 yrs. ago

Q. I am a 45 year old woman who had a bilateral maxtopsy with implant replacement around 3 yrs. ago. I originally requested full B size cups but my surgeon recommended a larger breast to better suit my 36 inch back so instead I received 350 CC saline implants which increased my breast to full Cs. I now regret going to a C cup and would love to replace these implants to achieve the B size cups. Is this type of reduction possible? Would I need to get a maxtopsy again?

A. Thank you very much for your enquiry, in answer to it it’s difficult to give you an exact answer without seeing you in person but generally if you would like decrease size of your bust you’ll also need a mastopexy procedure. This is because the skin at the breast will stretch so significantly and with the big implant and they would need to be tightened up to give you the appearance you would like. For more information about what will be involved please visit our website http://aurora-clinics.com.uk where you’ll find lots of information about breast implants including implant replacement and mastopexy. If following this you feel you would like to schedule a free consultation please do so by ringing us on 01844-214362. Many thanks for your enquiry, we do look forward to meeting you in the near future. Best wishes yours sincerely, Adrian Richards Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeon Surgical Director of Aurora Clinics

m a 42 year old woman and im thinking about having a combination of tummy tuck surgery and a mastopexy breast lift?

Q. Im a 42 year old woman and im thinking about having a combination of tummy tuck surgery and a mastopexy breast lift? Is it in your opinion safer to have each procedure done separately at different time? Cost is certainly not a consideration here I just want to give myself the best possible chance of a full recovery from each procedure. What would you advise please?

A. I oftern combine abdominal and breast surgery. The combined procedure is not a problem and should not affect your recovery. The recovery period for the tummy tuck is the longest at about 3-6 weeks as this varies from patient to patient. RegardsLeRoux Fourie

When you have a breast lift and augmentation are they not supposed to be even

Q. When you have a breast lift and augmentation are they not supposed to be even or could it take some time for them to settle into the right position. It’s been six months since I had my surgery? I wonder if I may need further work?

A. Augmentation mastopexy is a complex and difficult operation and adjustments are very commonly required. do not be alarmed! As it is only six months down the line I would keep in touch with your surgeon and ask if things can be corrected. Otherwise I would be happy to see you cheerio Paul Banwell www.paulebanwell.com 0845 2600 261

My bra size is 32 d cup,but i feel like my breasts are bags of skin, what kind of breast surgery would you recomend

Q. Im 27 and i have 2 sons age 10 and 5 years old.My bra size is 32 d cup,but i feel like my breasts are bags of skin, what kind of breast surgery would you recomend for me to have as i would just like to have fuller looking feeling breats.please help.thank you

A. hi there. Although I couldn’t tell you what’s best for you without examining things, what I can say is that many women feel the same after the size changes that take place in the breasts after pregnancies. The breasts change in two ways – the nipples can droop and the breast itself can droop. If the nipple has drooped, then we need to lift the nipple usually with a mastopexy (a breast uplift). If the breast itself has drooped and there is volume loss in the upper part of the breast then we have to fill that out, and often we’ll do this with an implant. There will usually be some increase in the upper part of the breast with a mastopexy, but whenever we do a mastopexy, the breast starts to droop again after a few weeks, so the best way to fill out the upper part of the breast is with an implant. If you have both breast drooping and nipple drooping, then we may need to consider an uplift as well as an implant together. If a woman is happy with the size of her breasts, many women will opt to have an uplift to begin with and then later on (a year or so later) when the breasts have dropped completely, then if they want to be bigger at the upper part of the breast then they’ll sometimes have implants inserted – but not ones that are too pointy, rather we would use implants that are quite broad to give fullness in the upper part of the breast. As I say, the thing that’s best for you would be best discussed after an examination but i hope that information is useful in the knowledge that you should gain prior to having a consultation with a surgeon. At the consultation you and your surgeon should talk in depth about your options and your surgeon should listen to your concerns and come up with a plan to maximally help you achieve your aims.

A. Thank you very much for your enquiry, I’m sorry you have such a bad experience with your surgery previously. You’re right that it maybe possible to improve the appearance of the scarring either by tattooing the scars to help conceal them or by a surgery to tidy them up and make them look neater. I think it would be best initially to schedule the consultation by ringing us on 01844-214362. All our consultations are free of charge and we’ll be happy to discuss the best way forward for you at this consultation. In the mean time, you may find it useful to have a look at our website http://aurora-clinics.co.uk there’s lots of information about this type of surgery including videos of people who recently undergone similar procedures discussing their results and recovery period and also if you’re not too squeamish videos of myself performing the operation itself. Many thanks for your enquiry, we do look forward to meeting you in person in the near future. Best Wishes, Yours sincerely Adrian Richards Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeon Consultant, Aurora Clinics

I would like to know the costs and details of what happens for the mastopexy breast uplift surgery

Q. I would like to know the costs and details of what happens for the mastopexy breast uplift surgery and how this varies from other breast lift surgery?

A. a mastopexy is an operation to lift the breast and lift the nipple. It doesn’t really vary from other breast lift surgery, but sometimes you need only a small lift or a large amount of lift.

Could you please give me some details about the mastopexy breast procedure please?

Q. Could you please give me some details about the mastopexy breast procedure please?

A. Hi there. A mastopexy is a procedure to lift the breast and nipple. It takes about 1-2 hours, you’re in hospital overnight, usually with a drain, you have to wear a bra for 6 weeks and we see the final results after about 6 months. The breasts drop shortly after the operation and continue to do so for 6 months which is why we see the final results after a long time. The costs are on line at http://www.labelleforme.co.uk/cosmetic_surgery_prices.html and if you would like a consultation I can show you some before and after photos
