Q. Hi, I have recently used a (1.5mm) derma roller on my lips, ever since, i have found that my lips look more shrivelled up, they feel a lot thinner and appear very prune like .I have use the derma roller 3 times consecutively and have experienced bleeding on the three occasions. It has been nearly a month now and my lips still haven’t recovered to the way they originally were. I was just wondering if there is a treatment other then fillers or permanent transplant to restore my lips to the way they were, such as LED light or any other method of treatment to restore my lips to the way they were as ai’m only 25 years of age and i don’t want lips that of an old lady. Q. hi i want to have filler but i think fat tranfer as filler for frown line also a crease that appeared on top lip where my skin folds at night. can fat trafer be used both on them. also what best is age to have brow lift, i thirty nine soon, is it best to leave for when i older as how many brow lifts can u have in life. thanks bless u
A. hi there. it’s difficult to know exactly what’s best for you without seeing you, but often for frown lines, we prefer to use botox first and thin fillers later. fat transfers are too thick for the frown lines and is not recommended.

Q. I have 2 old depressed scars on my forehead from an accident. The scars cause me great embaressment and would i like to correct the condition. The injurys were stiched up but has left the scars depressed and one of them looks slightly out of contour with the rest of the skin. I have had pearl fractional laser which i don’t think really did much for the scasrs and i have bought a dermer roller which seems to be working more but scars still very much there. what else would you surgest that i could try?for example would skin grafting help, fat injections or fillers. I have already spent lots and so need expert advice on the most effective treatment.

Q. Is juvederm 4 the same product as volume? Can they be injected in the check? How much would they cost? Thank you. Debbie.
A. Dear Debbie, No, juvederm 4 is different from Voluma in that Voluma is the thickest of the juvederm products and is used to lay down the base and then work over the bones of your face. Voluma is normally used in the areas such as the cheek or chin and is very effective in this region.
