A. Laser hair treatment is more of a permanent reduction in hair rather than a permanent removal of hair. Lasers work very well, but you do need repeated treatments every few weeks. Hair reduction is permanent which means the amount of hair you produce is smaller and there’s less of it, but every hair is growing at a different part of the hair growth cycle and the laser only targets hair at particular parts of the cycle so different hairs will be affected differently by the laser. A. Hi there. The costs of laser treatment are all on line at http://www.labelleforme.co.uk/cosmetic_surgery_prices.html and the number of treatments you’ll need depends on various factors. Lasers target hairs when the hairs are growing. Your hairs will be at different points in their growth cycle when they’re being treated and the laser targets the hairs that are growing. It’s difficult to predict exactly how many treatments you’ll need but we often say to people that it might be worth trying 6-12 treatment sessions 4-6 weeks apart to begin with. It all depends on your skin colour, your hair colour and how coarse your hair is. My clinic in Glasgow is on Wilson Street, which is just off Candleriggs in the Merchant City, right in the centre of town, just off Ingram Street, towards the High Street end of Ingram Street.
