A. I’m afraid if you want to have macrolane with me, then I have to buy the product. I buy it directly from the manufacturer, which I think is the safest option. Safety should be our main concern.

Q. What do u recommened to fix the problem of firmness round patients who have had macrolane can it be fixed or do you have to live with it…whats the worst case you have seen,,only askin as ive had macrolane and this has happened to me and im desperate to sort it out
A. Thank you very much for your enquiry, unfortunately we have found that firmness around macrolane can occur quite frequently. I have generally treated this by removing the macrolane and on some occasions placing a breast implant in the area. This has the advantage of restoring breast volume and curing the problem with the hardening from the macrolane. In particular we found them too many cases the macrolane went slightly firm and cause a significant amount of tenderness. Q. Who or where does macrolane near to halifax and have surgicare stopped doing it

I’m not aware of any surgeon in the area who does perform macro lane injections and infect we have stopped performing them ourselves because we have learned that quite a few of the patients are developing firmness around the macro lane. We tend to find that breast augmentation is a more reliable procedure and has a very similar downtime and recovery period.
