Q. Would you be able to give me an indication of general costs for corrective ear surgery. My son has one ear that bends down and sticks out and it is gioving him confisende issues now he has started high school. Are there any risks on a child having this surgery. Would you advise it on a 12 year old boy?? His welfare is my main concern and wont be going ahead if there is any real risk to his health.

Q. How much would it cost to have a torn ear lobe repaired?

Q. A large chunk of my ear was bitten off when I was attacked by a dog over a year ago. Luckily for me that was the only permanent damage I received. I would liek to have a consutation about getting the ear reshaped so it looks like it used to if this is possible. Thanks

A. Hi there. You can certainly get a second opinion from a surgeon and you can ask if there is anything else that can be done to help you. Sometimes a different surgeon will say the same as the first surgeon and sometimes his opinion will differ.
