A. no you haven’t left it too late at all. However, there are some changes that we see in your nose as time goes by so we have to take that into consideration otherwise it would be very reasonably to assess you and ask you what you would like changed with your nose.

Q. I had rhinoplasty approx 11 to 12 years ago – I had a bump on my nose removed and on a 2nd operation by a different surgeon, the tip was altered. They were both done on the NHS. My nose seems to have changed shape over the years and I’m more paranoid now about my nose than I was prior to it being operated on. My nose seems to have sunken in at the sides and the tips, looking side on, has a curve. I can’t bear looking in the mirror or at myself on pictures. I am so self consicous of my nose now. Can you please advise?

A. hi – it all depends on what you’re not happy with and whether a surgeon that you see can make a difference to your liking. You should have a few consultations with a few surgeons before you make your mind up. You should have some free consultations and some paid-for consultations, I think.

Q. Hey, I was wondering if there was a rhinoplasy treatment which wouldn’t be very noticable. my nose bulges a little at the tip and goes off to one side. how much would it be for me to have it straightened and “thinned”?
A. Rhinoplasty involves a very wide ranging specctrum of procedures. Although true of any plastic or cosmetic surgery procedure, excellence and satisfaction in the outcome for rhinoplasty is particularly dependent on tailoring the operation to the needs, desire and vision of the individual patient. An in-depth assessment followed by skilful surgery in experienced hands can make a life-changing improvement with a satisfied surgeon and a happy patient. Experience has taught me that a small physical change at operation can make a huge difference to the patient and that ‘less is more’ – and safer. My own philosophy is always to make subtle changes that reflect the wishes and aims of the patient but to avoid an ‘operated’ look; ideally friends will know you look ‘better’ but not why!A bend or deviation of the profile is often related to underlying deviation of the septum; from your summary I think it would be perfectly feasible to achieve the refinement in the nose that you are looking for. Q. I am eighteen years of age and am currently considering rhinoplasty along with buccal fat pad removal. Firstly, I’m aware that you perform rhinoplasties, so if possible I would appreciate it if you could provide me with a rough estimate as to how much this procedure would cost. I understand that it’s not easy to assess the exact price without a consultation but I’m just looking for a rough guide at the moment. (I doubt it will help without a photograph, but I’m mainly looking for rhinoplasty wide bridge plastic surgery. Along with this, I would hope to alter the shape of the dorsum, reduce the depth of the alar grooves and the bulbosity of the alar lobules, and further define the tip of my nose. I’m definitely looking for a more natural look). Also, I was wondering if you could provide me with some information about payment options for rhinoplasty. I am unsure as to where I should look for an expert in buccal fat pad removal so unless you would be able to provide me with some more information about this procedure, could you give me some advice on where I might be able to find an UK-based surgeon willing to perform this type of surgery?
