Q. What can I do about stretched marks? Can they be totally removed? Mine are arounmd my tummy and top of legs and look unslightly. I really want to do something about them even this means having surgery.

Q. I have stretch marks on both of my knees and side of my thighs and its really affecting my confidence. I was just wondering how much it would cost to remove them.

A. Hi there. Stretch marks are quite difficult to remove completely and we can’t really remove them. What we can do is try and improve upon them and we can do this using a few techniques – dermaroller, laser, etc. The treatments make an improvement but the stretch marks are still there and the treatments need to be repeated, so you usually have a course of about 6 dermarollers, for example. Q. I was just wondering if you remove stretchmarks I have a lot of them on my inner thighs hips and at the back of my legs, they a very deep..I was just wondering how much it would cost and what procedure you use.

Q. Hi, I was wondering how old you have to be to have stretch mark treatment and how many sessions it would take for the stretch marks to fade? Also how much skin area does one treatment cover and does the amount of skin affect the price? Thank you.

A. Hi there. We treat people 18 and over, and we usually treat stretch marks with a dermaroller. You can treat a reasonable area at a time, as we use local anaesthetic numbing cream. Q. I am 18 years old and have got severe stretch marks after having my son. They are on my breasts, stomache, hips, thighs and bum. Is there any solution you can give? Ive tried every cream going and nothing works. My GP has been no help even though ive informed him they are causing me to get depression.

Q. What is a good treatment for stretch marks on my tummy and cellulite on my thighs? What is the cost of this treatment?

A. hi there. For cellulite, I think the best treatment is endermologie treatment which is £400 for ten sessions with my beauty therapist. Liposuction isn’t a great method, but if you would like me to examine your thighs then I can do so at a consultation. For stretch marks we often recommend a course of dermaroller treatment which is around £200 a treatment and you often need 3-5 treatments before you see a difference and the treatments are about 6 weeks apart

Q. I have had two children and put on 3 stone which I’ve now lost that weight but have been left with really bad stretch marks and i am hoping a tummy tuck will get rid of them.

A. congratulations on your weight loss. If the stretch marks are below the belly button and there’s enough excess skin then a tummy tuck may well help. If it’s just stretch marks that you have, then we can consider other treatments, eg laser, dermaroller, etc, but it all depends on where exactly they are and how we think we can get rid of them best for you

Q. I developed stretch marks from just bellow my belly button and below after my first pregnancy. Do you think a mini tummy tuck will get rid of my stretch marks below my belly button, and how much skin is removed with this procedure?

A. If your stretch marks go up to or above your belly button, a mini tummy tuck will not be effective. I would suggest you complete your family before considering any abdominal surgery. Moisturise the tummy during pregnancy wit Bio Oil.
