Q. Would thermage treatment work for saggy skin around the top of a persons legs. Is there a reason I cant find a surgeon that does this treatment, is this because its not particularly effective?!?! What is a good alternative to thermage for this area of the body?
A. Thank you very much for your enquiry. Unfortunately, thermage treatment in my experience is not 100% reliable in improving side of skin around the top of the person’s legs. It does tighten up skin in some areas but this is slightly variable. Unfortunately, there are lots and lots of options for treating this area other than surgical removal and elevation of the skin which is done in operations such as a thigh lift. Q. Im 39 years old and enquiring about having silicone buttock implants/butt lift or thigh lift for the sagging skin under my buttocks. Id like to know should I need to have both a thigh lift and buttock lift would there be a saving in costs from having both operation separate?

Q. 10 years ago I had a thigh lift and a buttock lift. The scars from the surgery are quite large and I also have sagging skin. I would like to firm up the area if possible so I’m able to wear shorts and bikinis as at the moment I cannot because of the scar around my buttocks. Thank you

Q. I have had a previous thigh lift about 5 years ago and im looking at revision surgery. The last surgeon I contacted said that if he does do revision surgery on my thigh it will likely sag again, is this correct?

Q. Im enquiring about thigh lift surgery and in particular the recovery period post surgery. While doing research on the subject I have read that it is a very painful proceddure and the recovery time can last for more than a few months. The information I have read is usually from other patients who have posted there thoughts on blogs etc but I would like to thoughts of a qualified surgeon on the matter. Is this information correct?
A. Hi there It is very sensible to do your research and yes you are right that thigh lift surgery can be associated with a prolonged recovery and wound healing problems. I usually tell my patients that they should allow 3 weeks off work and 6-8 weeks before they will feel much stronger. This will obviously vary from patient to patient. Q. I would like to find out more about removing the fat from my inner thighs. I am interested in both liposuction or a thigh lift, which ever is likely to give me the best results. I am a size 10/12, but the fat between my legs does not go away with dieting and/or exercise. I understand of you are unable to give a definbate answer without seeing me but will the thigh lift be able to sort out the inner parts pf my thighs only?
