I am looking for ways to get rid of capsular contracture?

Q. Hello I sufferer from capsular contracture and am looking for ways to get rid of this problem. What is cost of surgery and do you offer finance?

A. If you suffer with problematic capsular contracture, your alternatives are: – capsulectomy/capsulotomy and replacement of the implants – creation of a new implant pocket either for the same implants or new ones – removal of the implants, and possible volume augmentation using your own body fat The type of implants that is associated with lower contracture rates and may be more suitable for you is the micro-polyurethane coated ones.  The implant is essentially a cohesive gel either round or anatomical implant, and has an additional layer of micro-polyurethane foam. In a situation like this, it would be necessary to sit down in a consultation and discuss the current situation as well as the options available, and it is difficult to give you a clear indication of costs beforehand.  I’m afraid I do not have an option for finance plan. In the meantime, one of the options you can use, as to apply Voltarol Emulgel or Ibuleve gel/ mousse, to the breast twice a day which has been shown to improve and sometimes soften capsular contracture.  This medication is contraindicated in sufferers of asthma or women with heartburn.
