I am slightly confused about how best to tackle a large forehead

Q. Hi, I am slightly confused about how best to tackle a large forehead. It seems a hair transplant is recommended a lot when I initially ask the question but I then find info that relates to balding men or women. I am not balding, I just want to decrease the size of my forehead that has always been oversized. Can you help me please?

A. Thank you very much for your enquiry, I’m afraid it is very difficult to treat a large forehead and one of the any treatments possible is to remove skin just in front of the hair line.   This functions to bring the hairline forward but has the negative effect of leaving a scar along the edge of the hair.   This is not the form of treatment I perform but it is available in some centers and I think it would be worthwhile having a more of a look around the internet to see if you can find someone who specializes in this form of treatment.   I wish you the best of luck if you do decide to go ahead with surgery.   Best wishes yours sincerely,   Adrian Richards Plastic and Cosmetic Surgeon Surgical Director of Aurora Clinics
