I am thinking of rhinoplasty surgery for bent nose
Q. Hi I am thinking of rhinoplasty surgery for bent nose however i can only take 2 weeks off work so how long do you have to wear a cast for on your nose after a Rhinoplasty?
A. Thank you for your enquiry. In my practice, I tend to leave the splint on the bridge of the nose for the first week, and recommend that patients take two weeks off work, primarily to be confident that the bruises have cleared before returning to work. The duration for leaving the splint on will carry between surgeons, but I doubt that in current practice people leave the splint for longer than two weeks.
