Q. I had a breast reduction with implants three years ago and wish to have them removed and not replaced due to constant discomfort. I fear my right implant has bottomed out or slipped. What would be the time scale and cost for this procedure? Regards
A. Thank you for your inquiry. In most instances, after a mastopexy with implants, removal of the implants should be associated with some more skin tightening and the reshaping of the breast gland to maintain a nice shape. Return to work after a procedure like this would be in the order of one week to 10 days for office activities.
