Q. I had a rhinoplasty performed seven years ago. I was largely happy with it although more recently I have noticed the area around the tip to have not be a uniform /settled in a way that I am entirely happy with. I am looking to make the tip slightly narrower and more uniform. Would be looking to go with the best possible surgeon in this area because it is a very subtle procedure and a second rhinoplasty. Please could you give me an indication of price and consultation procedure. Thanks
A. Hi there. Secondary rhinoplasty is a lot harder than a primary rhinoplasty particularly for minor alterations. Sometimes you will be turned down by surgeons and sometimes these surgeons will charge for a consultation. Nevertheless, it’s probably important to have a consultation with a couple of surgeons to see who you like and who you think would be able to give you the result that you want. Consultations are usually around £100 or thereabouts
