I have recently had a consultation with a breast doctor
Q. I have recently had a consultation with a breast doctor but was told that since it is cosmetic surgery that i need, i am unable to receive treatment from the NHS and I was told to go private and pay for it myself. i am 29 years old, and have lost quite some weight and i am now very conscious of my appearance and it is ruining my confidence however i am not sure if i am a suitable candidate or not for breast implants or breast lift.
A. Thank you very much for your email. Without seeing you is difficult to recommend whether an uplift or a breast enlargement would be suitable for you. Your GP is right in that these procedures are not usually available on the NHS. For more information on this procedure please have a look at our website aurora-clinics.co.uk. On it you will find videos of the procedure and on topics such as the types of implants, the likely result and recovery period as well as videos of people who have recently undergone breast enlargement discussing their experiences. You will also be able to see pictures of people before and following surgery. We do offer finance and again the details of this and the prices of the procedure are on the aurora-clinics.co.uk website. I hope this has been useful With best wishes Adrian Richards Plastic and Cosmetic surgeon
