Q. I have several deep wrinkles around the side of my mouth treated with laser skin resurfacing. A friend of mine had the treatment for a similar thing and when I saw her after surgery she looked great. She had the surgery in London but im keen not to travel to far from my family and wondered if you supply the treatment in your Glasgow clinic or know of another surgeon that does this procedure in the Glasgow area?
A. Hi – we do have a laser skin resurfacing service at my clinic. The procedure takes about an hour, sometimes it needs to be repeated, the recovery takes a few weeks and during the first couple of days there’s some pain and swelling associated with the treatment.
