Q. I have lost a lot of weight since my gastric bypass surgery over a year ago. I now have a lot of excess skin I would like removed. I am considering the Vaser liposuction or Bodytite and wondered if you offer either of these treatments and your thoughts on which is better?
A. Thank you for your email. Please give me some more details about your current weight, height and your recent weight loss. Liposuction techniques like Vaser (Ultrasound assisted), Smartlipo (Laser assisted) and Bodytite (Radiofrequency assisted) may tighten skin to some extent. We need to assess the amount of excess lose skin you have particularly following gastric bypass surgery.
