Q. I want to have my lips filled out slightly as I feel they look very small compared to my other features. Are there several different types of injections you can have to increase the fullness of your lips or do you just use one technique?

A. Thank you for your inquiry. Although there are a number options for lip augmentation, I only use injectable fillers based on hyaluronic acid. I am not particularly under the impression that one product is better than the others, but I like very much the fact that the products from this group have a very good safety profile, reasonable longevity and reversibility. For long-term lip augmentation I would favor the Permalip silicone implants.
