Q. I would like to get surgery for my upper and lower eyelids, and for the bags under my eyes. With the surgery being so close to my eyes, I am worried about finding a qualified surgeon. How can I find out if a surgeon is qualified for this kind of procedure?
A. There are several ways of finding out if your surgeon is qualified. He can have FRCS(plast) after his name, he can be a consultant plastic surgeon in the NHS, he can be a head and neck plastic surgeon, he can be a craniofacial plastic surgeon, he can be a member of BAAPS and he can be a member of BAPRAS. Of course, he can be a she too
